IXI Fund Managers Ltd announces its acceptance as signatory to the Standards Board of Alternative Investments (“SBAI”)

IXI Fund Managers Ltd is pleased to announce that it is in conformity with the standards set out by the Standards Board for Alternative Investments (“SBAI”) and, therefore, has been accepted as a signatory of the SBAI as of 30th November 2020.

The SBAI establishes the Standards for Alternative Investment which are a collaborative framework of “best practices” to improve market discipline and transparency with regards to fund managers worldwide irrespective of their size. The Standards deal and address areas regarding alternative investment practices which include the following:

• Disclosure;
• Valuation;
• Risk Management;
• Fund Governance; and
• Shareholders Conduct.

The conformity is assessed on a “comply or explain” basis, meaning that signatories have to either comply or explain their non-compliance with the Standards. The Disclosure Statement of IXI Fund Managers Ltd is made available to existing and prospective investors upon request.
